All American pictures made before 1989 without a copyright renewel fell in the public domain,Because this interview was lost for so long it never gotten a copyright renewel. So it is automaticly public domain.

A Classic 1950's Commercial for Post's Sugar Crisps. Cheap, but cute. DISCLAIMER: This video does not represent the quality of major Hollywood cartoons of the time. Nor does it represent the quality of major Tele-cartoons of the time ("Clutch Cargo" didn't air until several years after this commercial, so it doesn't count. Then again, "Clutch Cargo" was already crap by the standards of it's time). Heck, it stinks by the standards of most advertising cartoons of the time....

Aired 1957, here's three commercials for the ill-fated Edsel car (1958 model year?), which despite some innovative features ended up being a major commercial failure. "Mister Ed" episode 'Ed the Beneficiary', which for unknown reasons has entered the public domain. The show was about a Man who was friends with a talking horse.

THE BEVERLY HILLBILLIES did turn into television's number one show faster than any sitcom in history. A supreme television classic, this CBS-TV folklore favorite ran for nine years and still holds the record for TV's highest-rated half hour.

A classic commercial for Du Mont Laboratories Television Sets. I took this from an episode of "School House" that somebody uploaded. Note: While the TV network can be spelt DuMont , the owner of the Network which produced TV sets is correctly spelt Du Mont , as that was the spelling perferred by the founder of the company.
